Primary Beginnings Child Development Centerss is celebrating “Week of the Young Child” from April 14 – April 20. “Week of the Young Child” is an annual commemoration designated by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), to focus public attention on the needs of young children and their families and to recognize childcare programs and services that meet those needs.
This year, the theme for “Week of the Young Child” is Early Years are Learning Years. Each Primary Beginnings location is going to be including activities that promote social, emotional, developmental and interpersonal skills, in addition to their normal lesson plans.
During “Week of the Young Child”, we will be holding the Grand Re-Opening Ceremony of our North Hills center and playground. The North Hills location recently underwent renovations to the exterior of the building as well as installed a brand new playground. The event certifies our dedication to not only providing safe and quality child care, but also to our community. To learn more about this event, please read North Hills Grand Re-Opening Ceremony.
We are very excited to be able to share this celebratory week with our friends and families!
